Write out or type out your lyrics, and sketch out song arrangements on paper.  Make copies for yourself (and other band members) and a copies for us and bring them to the session.  It'll help us all when referring to different parts of the songs.

If you have rough demos (cassette, Garage Band, whatever), give us a copy in advance of your session, if you can.

If you want beer, BYOB. If you want other drinks, bring those too.  We have a full-size refrigerator you can use.  We've got free coffee and water.  If you want food, there are places nearby to get groceries, snacks, and fast food.  If you want to save some money and fix your own food, we've got a full kitchen you can use.

Bring guitar picks, extra strings, and an extra battery or two for your effects pedals.  We've got strings, picks, and 9V batteries for sale, but wouldn't you rather use your own?

If you're going to be doing a bunch of drum tracking, put new drum heads on your drums if you can.

Put new strings on your guitars and tune them and play them to let them settle in.  Learn how to put a string on properly and it'll stay in tune a lot better than a hastily installed spaghetti-sticking-out-everywhere string, trust us.
